Radical
Sportscars was formed in January 2007 in Peterborough UK. Since that time
they have become one of the most successful Sportscar manufacturers in the
world. Different models of Radical have rolled out of the factory over the
last 10 years, starting with the 1100cc Clubsport right up to the SR9 LMP2
which finished the 24h Le Mans at its first attempt last year. In the Gulf
we have sold as a variety of Radical sportscars, but the main focus is on
the hugely successful SR3. It has been proven here and in the rest of the
world that there is no other car that gives the driving experience that the
SR3 does. If you consider 'BHP per Tonne per Dirham', then nothing comes close.
This is a real racing car available to the public.
The Radical SR3 is currently Radical's
most popular sportscar, and is raced the world over. One-make Radical SR3
championships are are thriving in the US, Germany, Portugal and the UK and
of course in the Gulf. The SR3 is also used widely as an advanced track /
race school car.
As
a trackday car, the SR3 is unbeatable with is spacious cockpit, safe handling,
and awesome performance.
The
SR3 has received many accolades from the media, and holds a number of records,
including the outright lap record around the Nürburgring Nordschleife,
until of course the SR8 smashed the record again last year! With a new aero
package we expect the SR3 to close the gap on the SR8.
The
new aerodynamic package improves the car even further and importantly, makes
the car more drivable, making the SR3 suitable for both professional and novice
drivers alike.
The
SR3 works well at so many levels; it is endearing for a new driver yet still
a complex driver’s car for an experience racing driver.
