The GranTurismo MC Trofeo’s set up is tuned for the track use, keeping the optimal weight balance of the road-going car. The Maserati Corse technicians have reduced weight to 1400kgs, improved the dynamic performance by means of specific racing type components, while keeping the reliability of the original design of the 4.7 litre V8 engine, paddle shift gearbox and transmission assembly.

The car is fitted with single-rate racing dampers dampers and aluminium 18″ wheels with slick racing tires. The braking system features new monobloc callipers and racing-type steel discs and pads, without ABS.
